Year-long NaNo discussion

'The Crownless Queen' is about Lady Orana.
She's the Princess of Karlay, but when her brother (King Ozony) is murdered, she's forced to marry one of the men who betrayed Ozony and helped Munay steal his throne.
Soon she's Lady of Debel and must use her position to still help her people fight back against Munay's tyranny. But what will she do when she starts to care for the man who ruined her life and took everything from her? And just when she thinks things are healing, her life starts falling apart again.

So, what do you think? Sound like a good book?

So you mean this world has its own cuss words? That's actually pretty impressive. One of my biggest pet peeves in writing is swear words from our language being used in fantasy worlds.

I actually hate swear words anyway, but you know what I mean... Rich storyworld-building and all that!

He obviously didn’t know marrying this monster was one of the worst things she’d ever had to do in her life. She hesitated, then glanced towards Munay’s warriors standing nearby, remembering what they would do to her if she didn’t marry this monster. So she placed her hand on top of his and bit her lip. She could never go back from this!

Interesting idea! Sacrificing so much for her land . . . I can get behind that!
