"You weren't kidding about the haunted house stuff, were you?" Ceryan days as he stops slightly, looking up at the house. "Is there any stuff inside that'll mess me around? Charms, tags, other people?"

Nickles looked down at him from the stairs " nope inside ur perfectly safe from that stuff, but" she smirked " not from me"

"Oh really? And what kind of traps might you have in store for me, hmm?~" Ceryan' asks. He felt a thumping in his head, and he felt his heart rate quicken. He knew it was something to ward him off, and that it didn't pose too much danger to him, but it was enough to make him like this

Nickles watched him slowly, taking off her bracelet she gave it to him " I forgot about the effects it has here take this and just hold it , u will feel better" she smiled and winked " well u just have to see"

He reached a slightly shaking hand out to grab the piece of jewellery and felt his head simply go numb, rather than be painful. "Thanks..." He mutters to her as he continues walking, not hearing her last comment.

Nickles got to the door and took out her skeleton key she turned and smiled at him then unlocked the door, " once you go inside the effects will be gone and u will feel fine"

"I'll have to trust you on that front..." He says as he steps inside. It wasn't just a lack of the ward, being inside had a soothing effect. He carefully grabs Nickle's hand at his face level and slides the bracelet back into her wrist, kissing her hand lightly afterwards.

Nickles blushed and held her head down " come on ill show u around" she walked slowly down the long corridor Nickles felt safe and calm. The house always made her feel safe

"How many of these rooms haven't you been in recently?" Ceryan asks, looking around. "I mean, you can hardly use ALL of these rooms, right?"

"Their is 27" Nickles said " I use mostly the library and the top floor while Monty uses the rest as far as I know but yes their is a lot, it's only me and Monty now"

"Monty...? You live with another guy? Are you and him...y'know..." Ceryan asks embarrassed slightly as 'monty' is largely a male name.

Nickles laughed " noo noo Monty is my younger sister" Nickles didn't want him to think she had someone else

"Sister? Oh." Ceryan said with a slight sigh of relief "what's the age gap? How old are both of you?"

" how old do I look" Nickles wondered " Monty is 17 and let's see if you get my age, perhaps if you do I will give u a prize"

"No thanks. I don't wanna get it wrong and have you hit me again. I think my nose still needs to be sorted out..." Ceryan says as his hand goes to the bridge if his nose to check.

" yea, about that,erm" Nickles was so embarrassed " you pissed me off" she smirked " I guess that shows you not to piss me off" Nickles giggled " cu you little one can't take me on" she winked

Ceryan sighs slightly, smiling at her. "Which room is yours? I at need to get acquainted with that room, at the very least~" he said playfully as he jogged to catch up and hugged her from behind.

nickles laughed and looked back at him " who said it would have to be my room" she smirked " their is over 27 room's in this house and thats just bedrooms their the libraries the armory room, the workout room, the living room's, the kitchen, the dinning room, afraid you cant handle it" nickles smirked and jumped away from him to step on the stairs leading to the second floor, " come on" she tilted her head " i will show you my favorite room."

"Favourite room? The joys of living in such a huge house.lol picking a favourite room, huh?" He says to himself as he follows behind. He couldn't help but look around as he walked.

nickles ran up the steps giggling as she almost fell, she turned to him and smiled " this way" she smirked "catch me if you can" she winked

"Games? I guess or can actually run down these hallways for ages until you need to slow... Well, what they say about the rich-poor divide is true..." He says, sighing with a light smile

nickles turned around and stared at him " i have no idea what you just said" she laughed " we aint their yet we have to go farther" she laughed again and took off running down the hall

"Even further!? Just how big is this place!?" Ceryan asks, genuinely shocked. He'd grew up in a single room, and houses like this seemed ridiculous to him.

" well from the outside it looks like a small mansion, but those are spells to keep people away, when in reality it is so much more, have u seen harry potter where they go inside a small tent that turns into a 4 bedroom house?" she asked him, it was her best way to describe the house

"Yet somehow you're adamant that you hate the supernatural. This house itself is supernatural. You really are a confusing girl." Ceryan says, closing his eyes slightly and walking down the corridor, his hands behind his head.

nickles stopped , should she tell him? the real reason behind everything. she desperately want to share but she knew it wasnt the time , she shook her head " this house choose to let me and my sister in, i have seen when kids come to get inside but the house changes into something else and people run or they get killed" she yelled in a sing song voice, making it boom from all around her

Ceryan slows slightly. Was he actually following this girl in a house that could quite possibly kill him? Hell, she could quite possibly kill him. Had he made the wrong decision? Had his lust simply took him too far? He comes to a stand-still, contemplating running.

nickles felt a rush of something, almost as if someone was breathing down her neck, she turned to see him stop. she knew that look ohhh so well " if the hosue wanted to hurt you , you would be on the floor dead, this house is alive. you may not believe me but for you to be able to walk in without any effects , it means the house trusts you. " she moved closer to him , still staying a little away " it must have seen something inside of you, for it to let you through" she smiled sadly " by all means " she pointed to the stairs " you want to run go" she said with a little sadness " i wont stop you"

"... Why do you hate what I am? Why do you hate Supernaturals. A lot of them are horrible in a frenzy, but a lot of us just want to be human. What could we have possible done to you!?" Ceryan asks, looking at her and raising his voice as he concludes his sentence.

nickles stood ridged " you really want to know?" she asked as she felt the breathe on her neck again and smiled

"Why hunt them down and kill them when you don't even know anything about them...?" He felt horrible for asking that last part. He used to be forced to murder people he didn't know. How could he look down on someone who did the same? It wasn't his fault, but he felt like a hypocrite.

" im not going to argue with you in the hallway no matter how hot you look when you get all male dominant" she smirked and walked to the wall at the end of the hallway and felt it with her hand and smiled " come here" she said to him " you see how cold it is here compared to the rest of the wall?" she asked

Ceryan had to bite his tongue slightly, annoyed by her avoiding the question. "This isn't a trap or anything, right?" He says as he walks over, anxious to touch the wall.

" no no, you seek answers and i will give them to you" she smiled lightly " i want to show you my favorite room" she grabbed his hand and put it on the wall and watched his face before speaking" i told you this house was alive, correct?" she asked him

"What's so special about this spot then?" Ceryan asked, humouring her for just a while longer. He wanted to know, sure, and if this was how he'd find out he didn't mind for now.

" it's very special" she laughed softly " just watch okay?"

He sighed slightly, but nodded. "Alright. I'll watch." He says, keeping his hand on the wall on his own.

nickles turned from him and looked at the wall "Rerum tanta novitas in morte eorum est" her voiced boomed from everywhere, echoing loudly, she stood back as the wall slowly started to shift. revealing a stairing leading down with torches unlit on the wall "i tenebris ambulare viam patere ad lucem animus invoco" the torched on the wall blazed to life, nickles turned to him and raised a eye brow

Ceryan took a moment to compute what was happening. He turned to her slowly "there is no way on hell you're purely human. Unless that was just some code and not an incantation, I'd say you've got some witch in you somewhere.

nickles shook her head , and motioned for him to follow her down the stairs

Ceryan hesitantly followed, but ultimately does so. He puts his hand on the wall, running them down as he walked. He kept his eyes on the floor and roof, still not 100% certain there wasn't any traps

she looked behind to him "claudunt stricta" as the door boomed closed behind them and she continued down the stairs the torches lighting her way. at the bottom she turned to him " monty doesnt know about this , its where i am most of the time" she shruggs and leads him to a massive room with scrolls and books everywhere, and a large pentagram in the middle made of blood

"Oh shit..." Ceryan stutters as he sees the ritualistic set up. He'd seen thousands of these, and they always require sacrifices to work. He hated the sight of them, but not just because he'd killed many people at these, it was people that want to ritual to take place tempt sacrifices into their homes... Just as he himself had been tempted in...

nickles shook her head and walked to the middle of the pentagram as he stayed away and sat down, she looked up to him
" you ask for the truth" she asked him " are you sure you can handle it" she asked

"You're some sort of demon or something? Or just a cult worshippers? What the deal?" He demands, somewhat shouting at her. He hated the cult life and what he was forced to do, he didn't want to go back there. That is, if what was happening. Was cult-based. He didn't know, but he wanted to find out.

" i am full human" nickles told him " i have no magical ability what so ever" she stopps and take a breathe " but." she hinders on the spot "when i am in this house, i cn do certain things" she smiles at him

"Do I even want to know what those things are?" He says, turning to the side. He couldn't stand to look at the ritual set-up any longer, but turning his back to her would put him in danger. He still didn't know for sure if she posed a threat to him.

nickles laughed " well your going to find out" she stopped to look at him. " i will not hurt you, this house" nickles starts off " it picks people." nickles let out a huff of breathe

"Why would the house let me be alright when I'm a supernatural, and the owner of this houses hates my kind. Surely killing me would be the first thing this house did..."
