Book: We lived to love is to live

Jennifer is a young woman and a newbie who has just joined a startup where she meets Ravinder, her reporting manager at an office party. They fall in love and form a strong bond. One day, she finds out that Ravinder is married and has a kid too and thereon starts the series of unexpected events which turn her life upside down. The story is how she takes baby steps and with support from family and friends.
I finished the book in one go as it was a simple and easy read. It beautifully elaborates how one can move on from a rough phase one step at a time and see the surprises life has to offer. It teaches us that love happens but when you realise there is no future, no validation to your feelings, all you need to do is get out of it and respect and relish the memories created.
A conversation with Rakhi Tewathia, author of We lived- to love is to live, published by Bluerose publishers.
1. Tell us about yourself.
Rakhi Tewathia, 26 is a Marketing specialist, being born and raised in Delhi, Debutant in the world of writing. Rakhi believes that one should do something only when it comes from within. Living her life in style.
2. If not being an author, what was your dream in life?
If not being an author than I would be doing Learning new things, meeting new people, travelling to unexplored places, doing something that’s terrifying yet exciting, trying out new cuisines, reading great books, listening to the best music, owning a house with a garden and the list goes on. Little ambitious right ;) All in all, it is to live doing all sort of things unabashedly and making some kickass memories while doing so.
3. Who or what inspired you to write the book?
Writing is my passion before I wrote a novel, I tried myself in writing blogs and while writing blogs I had a whole collection of stories. After all what a girl doesn’t like love stories! Why a love story because it takes me out of my head into a dream land! And I myself is very romantic person. The complexity of relationship makes love stories the perfect material for storytelling.
4. How did you come up with the title of the book?
From my only concentration and commitment for love I came up with the title of the book!

5. Who is your favourite author?
Sudeep Nagarkar because the narration is good and one can easily get into the story.
