I'd like to suggest Steampunk. The genre grew more and more popular in the last couple of years and it has a lot of ointeresting cross-genre possibilities. It might be interesting for lovers of classics, cause the time period of the victorian age is familiar.
It's interesting for fans of sf, cause it has many themes in common and is a sub-theme of sf.
It's interesting for fans of the supernatural, cause a good amount of books has supernatural elements.
I's also interesting for fans of romance, cause some works contain romance in small or large capacities.

I like Steampunk. It's good. I recommend Cold Magic. It's a bit Steampunk (in some ways) and it's good. There's also Girl in the Clockwork Collar. And a bunch of others on my to-read list.
