(Chapters 17 - 20)

Hello, what are your thoughts on these chapters?

Chapter 17 was my favorite of these, possibly because Screwtape was describing people I've met. People who are so "low maintenance" about their food that they become high maintenance. "I only need a little, tiny bit..." and then get enraged that your idea of a little, tiny bit is of course not their idea of a little, tiny bit of pie (or whatever). lol As someone with so many food allergies and things that just plain make me sick, that I understand and can empathize with; but when someone is being difficult about portions--it's frustrating. Just... put it back? And saying how men are different that they just know who has the best steak, etc. is so spot-on. My guy friends are always so very insistent that they know the best restaurants/take-out for every single dish ever.

I feel like I probably zoned out for this because you seem to have given it more thought than me.

I think it was very clever how he twists things into being all done on purpose to either get people to hell or to heaven.
