Strega Nona discussion

Isn't this book great? Anthony was a funny character and Strega Nona was brilliant. What do you say?

I love this book too! All of Tomie dePaola's stuff is great. I miss reading them to my now teenage daughter!

Big Anthony is the hero. I love these books!

Me too! I used to read them to the kids at the preschool where I worked--always a big hit!

I also really enjoyed this book! It is a fun, silly book that shows you need to listen.

I think the Strega Nona/Big Anthony series is just about my favorite in kids books. I love them!

Some teachers really should not be teachers. I had a professor give me a super low mark on an essay because I interpreted a poem a certain way, and he insisted that was not the meaning of the poem. It's a bloody poem! It's meant to be interpreted in more than one way!
