Ed Erwin While researching our current read of "The King in Yellow" I discovered the publisher Oldstyle Tales Press.

They have a nice version of that story in the collection The King in Yellow and Other Horrors: The Best Weird Fiction & Ghost Stories of Robert W. Chambers, Annotated & Illustrated.

Although those stories can be found for free elsewhere, the annotations and illustrations make for a nice package. They state:

THE PROBLEM. We love them, but horror classics can often feel remote, and looking up historical, literary, and cultural references can burn up time and ruin your experience of a masterpiece.

THE SOLUTION. Don't feel lost - be empowered. We will guide your reading with notes that shed light on the symbolism, history, and different interpretations of every single story.

They also have a cool blog.
