Chappy | 94 comments Hi,
I'm a new librarian so maybe someone can help me out. I've found 2 versions of Kristen Ashley's book "Fire Inside"
(https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... and https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...). I tried merging them myself but I don't think it worked. These 2 books also have very different page numbers listed.
If you manage to fix this can you let me know how you did it?
Thanks

Adrienne Torrisi | 5 comments Hi Julie!

Sorry to jump in on your post - I couldn't figure out how to start a new thread. I, too, am in need of merging 2 copies. If you are able to figure it out do you think you could also help me?

I need to delete the below:

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

and merge it into this one:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Thanks so much for you help!
Adrienne

Renske | 12266 comments 1 It seems you have already combined them yourself. Or did you want a merge? Both are valid editions, so no merge needed. And the page numbers of ebooks are always difficult.

2 Is your book only available as Kindle edition or also as other ebook?

Adrienne Torrisi | 5 comments Only as a kindle. I had one review and one to read on the other one - just wanted those to transfer over too - I think they did in the rating but I'm not seeing them show up. Thanks so much for your help!

Renske | 12266 comments 4 I merged the ebook into the Kindle edition. It can take some time before the reviews are showing correctly.

If they have been combined successfully, how come I'm still seeing both versions in my "currently reading" shelf? (https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...)

What is a good source for finding accurate page numbers?

Thanks Renske

Renske | 12266 comments Because you can add more than one edition to your selves.

It's really better to start a new thread. Among other things, it makes your request less likely to be overlooked.

On the main group page, you should see:

Discussion Board       topics: all | new | unread

The one labeled "new" starts a new thread.
