It's always nice to have a history lesson lol - that's how I felt about part 2 - just finished it - Onto part 3....

I thought it was interesting to get the backstory in the middle. Interesting change to the norm.
Is it just me or is Lee just a massive dick. I don't really like him... or Iggy... or Merrin... or anyone really. This backstory is really creative and interesting though. His parents aren't really there a lot though. Does anyone know how old Ig was at the time that he met Merrin?
Leena I agree about everyone except Marrion, I think she is going to turn out to be more complicated than she appears. I don't think it says exactly what age they are when they meet, probably early teens.
I checked back and I think they were around 16. Yeah, you're probably right about Merrin. She just seemed like a really average person at a glance but I agree that she'll evolve throughout the book as her and Ig grow up. Oh and on a completely separate note, I thought it was clever how Ig's dad and brother play the trumpet and he continues to refer to it as the "horn"
Yeah I noticed that about it saying horn instead of trumpet as well. I wonder if music will play a greater role on why he has his real horns.
I found this section really slow, didn't really like the back story. With Merlin I think there's more then meets the eyes, she was obviously murdered for some reasoning. I don't like lee he's a jerk and terry seems to only care for himself.
The backstory felt a little slow. I struggled to keep reading. Notice there was a lot of religion too. Felt bad for merrin for losing her sister. Hope the story picks up in next section.
I definitely slowed down while reading this section. After finishing Part 1, I just wanted to know what happened next, so Part 2 was not exactly what I was hoping for. I ended up liking it, but it did make me think that Lee is just a jerk, not a very good person.
I loved the back story. it made me hate Lee just a little bit more. his family has all this money yet he's s thief. I'm interested to find out why he would kill merrin. Also, I can't stand that his brother kept the truth from him! I love the previous reference about the horns. I can't wait to find out why exactly he is growing horns!
