What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Hi, I read this book sometime between 2002-2004. I think it was published around that time. It was a mass market paperback, novelization of a real couples love story, co-written with a romance novelist, after they won a contest for “the greatest love story never told.”

The more details you can remember and write down, the more chance you have of someone recognizing it. When did the contest take place? Where did they live? Did they ever have troubles in their marriage? What was the greatest trouble or problem they overcame? etc.
