Good Readers of Scotland discussion

My name is Rhoda and from a very early age, I have been a fan of Scotland and things Scottish. I love the music, the stories, the history, the accents and the place itself which I have visited twice. Back in the 80's I read several George MacDonald books. During my first trip to Scotland back in 2001, I spent the day at the museum in Edinburgh and learned about the Highland Clearances. After reading some books about that tragic chapter in Scotland's history, I was inspired to write a novel, The Twilight Laird, which I just published with Amber Quill Press. In the process of writing my novel, I have learned much history about the Scottish highlands and have acquired an even greater appreciation for the land and its people.
