I felt it was predictable-not surprised at all. I enjoyed the book overall, but it’s never fun to end on a note of disappointment.
I was shocked about the ending😂. I loved every page of Chandler Baker’s book and felt it was an awesome pick!😊💪❤️
I have to admit that I liked the book. It moved quickly and was a fun, light summer beach read. However, the ending was both predictable and silly. For me, Rosalita and son were foreseeable if you caught the many clues. I did like the Ardie character the most. She was the only woman of the four that seemed trustworthy and down to earth, but her admission at the end was a huge letdown. Katherine lifting the leg of a man and doing the deed was hard to visualize and just plain silly. I felt unfulfilled and disappointed with the ending.
I couldn't put the book down, I finished it in 2 and a half days... with that being said then ending disappointed me. I loved the book and was excited to see how it would end, but I agree with Peekaboo, it was hard to visualize Katherine doing that.
I am glad this was a pick though! It was a relatable book, and I enjoyed it!

I enjoyed this book, however I was disappointed by the ending. You were able to predict that Katherine was somehow involved in his death, and it was hard to visualize him falling from her lifting a leg. I wasn't expecting Ardie to be as involved though.
Totally agree with the previous comment. Can’t remember the exact quote from the book, but basically that we learn at a young age not to celebrate each other’s accomplishments. Enjoyed the book. Arden was definitely a surprise. I also thought the firm suing the women-and how easily they gave in to it-was a bit of a reach. Then I see a woman on the evening news being charged in a wrongful death following her boyfriend’s suicide.
