Hi dear, I'm also a big fan of Grace Draven so I recommend to read other books written by her which are all great. I may recommend a web site that I use when I've read a book and want to read something similar and it helps also to discover new authors. It is : https://www.whatshouldireadnext.com. I hope that it will help.
I highly recommend Angelfall by Susan Ee. It features a male lead that is definitely not a toxic asshole and is definitely not a wimp. It has strong male and female characters and it's a slight fantasy/paranomal/dystopian. The plot for this is good, and the lead characters communicate well.
It's one of my favourite books of all time - along with Radiance by Grace Draven. Highly recommend Angelfall to anyone who enjoyed the mature and honest relationships between the characters in Radiance!
Oh i read Angelfall forever ago, back when i read more YA stuff, can't really remember what i thought, except i didn't really care about the very obvious resemblance to Katniss and Prim the protagonist and her little sister had. But the world building was quite interesting if i recall correctly, like a darker Supernatural.

But there was something about the easy, slow burn chemistry between the main couple that I really fell in love with...
Hmm I'm trying to rack my brains for another loving, steamy and mostly drama free relationship. Come to think of it, there aren't many! Most books with romance have some kind of drama at some point.
What about:
Night Huntress Series (Halfway to the Grave):
An urban paranormal with vampires. it's steamy, loving, but there's just a dash of some conflicts here and there. I wouldn't consider Bones to be a toxic alpha... bones is an alpha but he gives off a more playful vibe and he's the opposite of toxic
You kidding? Bones is like book boyfriend numero 1 😂 (sorry, i read a lot lol) except in book 4, in which he was a total tool for most of it (i never really forgave him until the next book). Frankly i feel like authors force drama a lot, i like it when it feels natural you know? I have a few contemporaries i love that deal with conflict better, like its organic instead of "protagonists must fight before the third act so they can make up later" cliche. It was my biggest issue with The Kingmaker Chronicles by Amanda Bouchet. One i loved, even though is lower on the romance scale is The Dread Chronicles by Ann Aguirre. Fantastic sci fi if you are into that stuff.
Bones is undoubtedly amazing! And ooh I haven't read The Dread Chronicles before. :') The first time I read about Bones though I think he ruined all other books for me for a long time.Yes I prefer it when the relationships feel natural. Not rushed or instalove/drama filled. Then what about the Six of Crows duology? It's also YA but I literally finished it yesterday and it's extremely well written with very naturalistic relationships. I highly recommend it (it focuses more on friendships but there is romance too).
I'll check it out! I've heard great things about the author. Another good one with a great relationship is Bitter Spirits by Jenn Bennett if you like paranormal historical romance. The conflict between MCs wasn't super original but it made sense and the book itself is soo much fun (the sequel too)
