I think I figured out who the killer was quite early on, rare for me. The geographic hint about the remote French village early on stayed in my mind as if it were written in all CAPS.
Me too, Charlene. That stuck in my mind and made the professor my number one suspect. I didn't look at any of the other suspects seriously.
I never thought Luther a suspect; he seemed quite harmless. For a time I thought it might have been Georgia.
Luther seemed obvious but I thought it was Georgia for most of the book! The professor wasn’t on my radar because I couldn’t figure out a motive.
