Well, now I am just pissed off. I get why she didn't but that doesn't make it right either. Ugh! Want to read it this weekend then @Diamond. It should only take us an hour or so to read that much. We can still count it for the challenge.

Sure! Yeah that's lame they need to label SAMPLE in clear letters on the cover. I'm writing that on my review on Edelweiss.

Ok so this has the first 12 chapters. I don't like reading that much of a book just to stop, it's a huge pet peeve of mine, I just...can't. So I'm sorry but I'm not gonna be able to buddy read this sample with you! Not gonna read it until I have the full book.

OK LETS READ THE FIRST 12 chapters (1/3 of the book) WAIT 5+ MONTHS AND READ THE REST, OR REREAD THE FIRST THIRD AND FINISH IT MONTHS LATER?

I think a lot of people have refused to read it and have sent in a message on edelweiss saying 'I don't read samples'. I hate when they don't tell you it's a sample!

That's okay @Diamond. I am going to read it probably still but not give a full review, just a brief one. They did give me a copy and not matter what I still feel obliged to give some feedback. I will definitely be saying how disappointed I am that they haven't clearly labelled it.

I am also worried that more of my books are like that! I got approved of ten HarperCollisn books in one hit. Are more of them only samplers!?!?!?

That's exactly what I did. I sent feedback sayin why is would not be reading or reviewing it.

And Rachel, a lot of us are worried about that! But as far as I know none of the others are samples.

@Diamond I don't think they are. Thank goodness! The cover for this says "advanced digital sampler" where all the rest just have their red "advanced reader copy " stamp. I am serisouyl so mad at this!

Ch 9 - (view spoiler)[ I'm still trying to figure out how this plan of theirs is going to result in getting back their kingdom, but I'm willing to keep reading to find out.

Seems like Tobiah is the Black Knife. He wouldn't be the first prince character that masqueraded around at night as an alternative personality.

I also don't get why he is the reason for the One Night war. Why was she holding his hand on a ledge the night it happened? Were they betrothed as kids? It seems like Wil's interest in him results from something from her early childhood. I really want to hear more of this story!! (hide spoiler)]

I was really hoping the Queen would speak up about how she and the King wanted Tobiah to marry Wil way back when they were kids. I was holding out hope that there would be a marriage contract already in place that would rule out Meredith's claim. Or, at the very least she would get shot!

I really did not like that Patrick guy all along. I can't quite figure out why the wraithboy was with him in the end.
