Nope, not Bellows either.keep in mind this is again a tricky one: this artist is famous for a completely different style.
The portrait is a self portrait at age 19.
Hmm. I think I'm out of guesses at this point. I'll get into search mode later. First G'reads things first.
The self portrait looks a bit like Mark Rothko, although the artwork is not what I would associate with him.
