More than Just a Rating discussion

How often do you find single book pages worth reading? Would you pay to receive single book page that are highly rated by other readers?

I would not pay and would not really be interested in single book pages but I do think that it is a good idea. I suspect that students would be interested, the salient pages from any book could be of interest. Handy for getting ready for exam's etc.

I don't understand. Do you mean an excerpt from a full-length work? Like maybe a sample? Or do you mean something more like "flash fiction" which is a very short story?

I would not pay for excerpts or samples.
I do have a subscription to free flash fiction but I never get around to reading the stories they send me.
