Remember that time we promised to have information on September’s book club posted the first day of the month? And then that other time that September 1 came and went and we posted nothing?
Yeah. That.
So here’s the deal. When you work in higher ed, as we do, and then enlist two others who also work in higher ed to be part of a book club that starts in September, as we did, things get busy and crazy and impossible.
Also? With a book club that offers three books to choose from, we’re finding we want to read them all. Thus: #readinglunch book club will now convene bimonthly(ish).
What does this mean for you book-clubbers?
1. We’ll still be reading and discussing August’s books through the end of September. Stress not!
2. Our next book selections will be posted in October. As soon as we can collect ourselves. The point of this is not to be strictly regimented, but to make new friends and meet new books.
