Shimira Cole | 2 comments Hello, I really need help finding books that aligned with my novel. If you know of an "Christian Magical Realism novel that has Characters finding something very majestical in this world(Our reality) that is connected to God, please list the book and author below. or provide a link so I can read their books. Thanks!

Reagan (reaganmariej) The Delusion: We All Have Our Demons by Laura Gallier doesn't exactly fit this genre exactly it is kind of like the rebel twin of that (not evil twin, it's not about a person seeking the devil) It's a good read for Christians though, it is really eye opening

So, I haven't actually read this book, but a lot of reviews say that it's a 'Christian Book'. I have it on hold @ the library, so when it comes in and I start reading it I'll let you all know if it's worth reading.

Karin I read one that might fit with the magical realism. The explanation for something that happens in this book didn't fit for me and I would call this Christian magical realism, although I didn't shelve it that way. No Less Days by Amanda G. Stevens. It has been shelved fantasy, but it's very realistic in almost every way, so I'd say magical realism.

It isn't y/a, though, if that's what you wanted.

Abigail (abigaillb) Christian books-wise, my religion teacher was reading this:
Story of a Soul: The Autobiography of St. Therese of Lisieux

Yay! Just finished it :) It is considered YA, but the thing I really liked was that in the beginning the main character, Gabi, wasn't very close to God. But time traveling back to medieval Italy made her realize how important God is in the people she meets' lives. Good book with exciting plot line. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 stars
