Kate S It's time to start looking at our books for the month of October. Let's read an award winning book together. Any award will work. Nominations will be accepted until September 21 and the poll will be up on Sunday night (using GR time).

I just found some Listopia lists that might help everyone choose an award winner to nominate:

Booker Prize Winners: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/2...

Hugo Award Winners: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/2...

Pulitzer Prize Winners: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1...

Elaine | 140 comments Have we not got any nominations? I've been away for a week so only just saw this. I would like to nominate The Goldfinch The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt if it's not too late.

Nope, apparently I failed to post it. My fault. Let's use them both!

Cool, sounds good :-)

message 8: by Kate S (new)

Kate S Yeah, I thought I had it set up right, but I was using a different device because I was out of town and apparently failed to publish it. It works out well that one of them can be our "new" book and one can be our members book. So, we will just use both. It looks like we have a good balance of books for October and all set up on time. :)

Carol Brill (goodreadscomuser_carolbrill) Terrific. Both sounds like a plan :)
