This was a beautifully written book, and Winterson always delivers the humor.  I had no problem reading it; I wasn't bored; I wasn't annoyed.  I just didn't enjoy it at all and I couldn't even point to why. 

Ha! That’s ok! I like a good polarising Booker entry. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone else’s reviews too. I wonder if anyone else will love it as much as I did.

Did you all get ARCs? I was going to order the audio version but it's not available until October.

I always love Winterson. This was a good read for me, but not her best. There was a lot here to think about!

I feel like Booker long list books are always polarizing like that, you either love or 'meh.

So of course this is the one I turned to next after the Deborah Levy . . .I hope I like it more than you did, lol.

@nancyj - yes, ARC's for US- I think I got mine from Edelweiss.

This is one I'm not really looking forward to. I know it's Winters on, but I wasn't a huge fan of Frankenstein, so I don't have high hopes for a book based on it.
