Chapter 4 so far I like it, I don't know how every character getting a pov chapter is going to work, there is setting up to be a lot of characters (view spoiler)[ I really want to know more about Auri and what happened to her ship, did the fold affect her in some way? (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 12 (view spoiler)[ I'm still enjoying this for the most, I really want to know more about Auri's powers and why the GIA wants her but the humor in this book is starting to annoying me. Everyone is sarcastic so none of the sarcastic lines actually come off funny and nothing is taken seriously. The little briefings between chapters are annoying me the most because they are filled with dumb jokes that just take me out of the story and remind me that this is YA novel trying too hard. Hopefully, it tones it down a bit because I'm actually liking this book for far. (hide spoiler)]

Overall I liked this book and can't wait to read the next book in the series!

I can't imagine what Auri is going through. What would it be like to wake up 200 years in the future, with all of your family and friends gone? I keep thinking about my pets, and how much I would miss them. I feel so bad for her... and for her family and friends. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 6- 12

This is one of those I-just-can't-put-it-down reads. I love the different perspectives in each chapter. This rag-tag group of elites are making quite the unique team together. They're all growing on me, especially as they faced so many different obstacles in the past few chapters. Now they're fugitives together... so many twists and turns! (hide spoiler)]

I did not see that twist with Cat. I gave up on the idea of Cat telling her team when the GIA broke into Dariel's place and hurt Fin- I even thought that maybe the GIA had made a deal with Dariel for Auri when he said they weren't supposed to be there yet. I'm really enjoying this read so far! (hide spoiler)]

Part 3

Cat died 😭 and I'm sobbing. I've really gotten attached to these characters and am relieved that we get to journey together in a sequel. I had no idea that the Ra'haam would be the plant creatures. I really enjoyed the twists and turns the authors placed along the way and am loving the rag-tag group of kids saving the galaxy. I want to know more about Zila and Kal's backstories. Hopefully we'll learn more about them in the next book. (hide spoiler)]
