max walked in slowly followed by leah.

leah turned a full 360 then looked back at max. " nice and simple, i like it. " she smiled

Skye leaned against a tree not bothering to interfere as she then sat down at its base.

max was wondering where Skye was so he went outside to find out. when he found her by the tree he walked up to her and sat down next to her leaning on the tree.

leah was alone in his tent and now she didn't know what to do. she had found humans in the woods. so does she stay here or leave and go back to the woods.

She looked at him, "Hi." She said quietly and looked back at the tent, "Are you sure it's a good idea leaving her alone?"

" no, i don't really have much in there thats valueable. " max replied.

leah came out of the tent holding a picture of max's brother. " who's this? " she asked.

Max looked up as leah came out holding a picture. she turned it so he could see it and his face turned white. it was his brother! how did leah find it? he thought to himself.

Skye looked up at the picture and back at Max, it was hi brother, they looked related.

((I gotta go to bed, night!))

leah was wondering why max got all white and why Skye was just silent.

max just sat there trying to look away from the picture but finding that he couldn't.

Skye grabbed it from her hands and put it in his hands, that way he could do what he wanted and hold on to his brother for a moment.

leah was startled by her reaction. with a surprised look on her face she back away to the shadows of the tent entrance.

max watched Skye grab the picture and hand it to him. he just sat there looking at the picture. his face still white he walked over to the tent and went inside shoving leah out of the way to get in. inside he placed the picture under the bed and walked back out to where a startled leah and calm Skye waited.

Skye leaned against the tree, "Are you alright?" She asked softly, her face turning gentle for what seemed like the first time.

max didn't nod or shake his head he just sat there starting at nothing. he didn't want to talk to anyone right now.

Leah could tell that she was not wanted anymore so she walked out of the tent and turned to leave.

Skye stayed quite as she realised this, she pulled her legs up and rested her head on her knees.

((I gotta go to sleep! Night! XD))

no one tried to stop leah so she left and went back to the woods.

Max watched Leah leave and called out to her. " thank you. " so quiet that she could barely hear it.

Skye knew she could hear it so she stayed still and quite.

((leah is gone))

max sighed agian and slouched down. he had a very long and tiring mentaly and physicaly day.

"You alright?" She asked meaning physically as his shoulders slumped.

" oh you know its been a rough day for me. you too i presume. " he said looking at her.

"Yeah I guess it has." She said quietly and looked back at his tent.

" are you Ok? " still looking at her.

"Yeah I'm fine, you shouldn't worry about me."

" oh, ok. " he said looking away from her to his tent.

"Go to your tent, I can leave if you want?"

" you can stay here if you want to. I will sleep out here. " max said ending quickly, embarassed.

"You don't have to sleep outside, "It's a two man right?"

" ya, you could probably squish in 4 people. i just thought you would be uncomfortable" he said embarassedly.

"I won't be and I don't want you getting wet." She said as she looked at the dark clouds.

" oh ok thats fine with me. " he said leading the way into his tent.

She followed him in and sat down on one of the sleeping bags.

" you can take the cot if you would like. " he said gesturing towards the cot in the corner of the tent.

"Nah I'm fine." She said softly and rolled out the bag.

" ok i will take the cot then. " he said sitting down on the cot. after watching her for a little bit he decided to say. " so what was our childhood like? "

"Mine? Well nothing special really." SHe said softly and bites her lip.

" well your biting your lip, that means you know something else. but thats ok you don't have to tell me. how about you tell me smoething else. like whats your favorite color? " he asked looking at her.

"Aqua blue." She smiled at him, "What about yours?"

" its orange like the sunset. " he sighed at the thought. he had always loved the color of the sunset.

"Yes I understand, sunsets are beautiful."

" ok your turn to ask a question. " he said chuckling to himself.

"Birthday?" She asked with a smile.

" um i have forgotten mine. i just never thought that it was speacial anymore after, you know. whats yours? if you think it is that important then you and i can make one up. " he said laughing.

She shook her head in shock, "Really you have no idea?" She said softly with a small smile.

" nope, but you can make one up for me. whats yours? " he asked agian.

"The first of June. Do you remember the season?" She asked.

" yes, i just don't remember my birthday. i have an idea what if we made it tommorrow and we could celebrate it. just like other families. " he said with a smile.
