SA Book & Challenge Lovers discussion

I'm about a third of the way through this, and so far so good! :)

I will say that the Narrators inability to discern gender is messing with my visualization a little (but it does make sense to the story) as there are a couple of characters that flicker like a glitchy hologram between looking male or female in my head.

The philosophical discussions and themes are rather interesting (view spoiler)[I've enjoyed the discussions between the Narrator and Strigan, as they debate over whose opinions, morals and judgments are more in the right. (hide spoiler)] and currently, the plot is definitely intriguing!!

I thoroughly enjoyed it!
I love that Ann Leckie gets you so involved with her A.I.
(view spoiler)[and I am rather pleased by Seivarden's 'redemption'.
I keep waiting for him to revert or do something horrid to prove he was only acting - but he genuinely seems to have come around!

I'm also still hopeful that by some miracle, more of Justice of Toren survived and Breq gets a slightly happier ending somewhere down the line. I realise the odds are minimal - but I'm going to remain optimistic, until there is absolutely no other choice by to accept that Justice of Toren is completely gone. (hide spoiler)]
