The chapter shows how easy it is to judge or make assumptions about a person or situation based on external information without having any knowledge of circumstances. It is easy to assume someone is in their situation because they choose to be, but that is not necessarily the case. How many times do people disregard or walk away from situations based on assumptions? In these situations, many people don't consider underlying factors in that circumstance unless you've been previously affected either personally or someone you are familiar with has been. It's a reminder not to be quick to judge, to look at the situation with God's eyes and heart.
