Upper Elementary Book Review discussion

I read the second book, Stick Dog Wants a Hot Dog, first. I actually think I liked the second book better. However, this is a good series for reluctant readers. There are lots of graphics, some pretty good sarcastic wit that is not required to get, and a decent infusion of vocabulary that is either spelled out or has tremendously strong context clues to help kids get it.
