September 2014 Read-a-thon
I may if I have time then as it'll be my birthday on the 26th and I'll be celebrating with my family that day and I'll be turning 27 that night at 7:30 pm central standard time in TN then its my parent's 17th wedding anniversary the next day and Once Upon a time season 4 premieres on the 28th. so we'll see. I've been doing a readathon all month long at my RFP book club and have read 2,073 pages for the month so far anyway. doing a horror themed one next month with two online book recommendation swaps for all hallows read too.
Hopefully I will have time, I'm working all day on the Friday and Saturday, I don't know about Sunday yet. Count me in anyways, I will read at night after work.
Not me unfortunately. I'll be away that weekend
I should be okay for this. It'll be less reading than "normal" since it'll be a house-painting weekend.
Since my sign up, I have never been very active in this group and I would like to participate more: so, I'm in! But i'm not sure to have totally understood the rules... the "game" consists in telling our reading progresses in the last weekend of the month and put them all together in a mega page count? Sorry for the question but it's the first time I take part to one of these 'read-a-thons' and I'm not very familiar with the entire thing! =D

I am in also. My birthday is the 27th but only plan on going out to dinner at Outback so should have sometime to read. I hate to say how old I will be. Happy Birthday to Amber.
I have a problem with one of my books. I can't find the number of pages to work out what I will be reading. I have texted the author and messaged the publisher as they don't even have pages on the publishers site :(I need the page numbers!!

Have you started reading? I've read just a chapter of Felix Holt: The Radical and I supose I won't have much time this week end: I'll be working all day tomorrow and sunday afternoon some friends of friends from England to see Perugia. I'll do what I can!!!

In this thread you will post your progress, telling everyone what you're reading and how many pages. Then all readers' totals will be tallied on the Monday to reach the goal of 15,000 pages.
This is a relaxed read-a-thon; it doesn't matter if you read 20 pages or 100, it also doesn't matter if we reach our goal, it's just having fun doing what you would normally be doing anyway:)
Make sure reply to the event or put your name in here if you would like to be included. If you simply stumble onto the thread, then please, join in!
*An easy way to keep track is using the Currently Reading feature on Goodreads, entering your page number at the end of each day.
**For those who read by eReader, take the page number which shows for paperback/hardcover here on Goodreads for your total. Calculate by percentage to work out your page number read.
***For audio listeners, check out how many pages the book has on Goodreads, then divide that number by how many CDs or hours it is to give you an idea of pages per time.
