John | 2 comments The general public view in the UK is that Watt invented the steam engine, Stevenson the Railway and Brunel everything else. Luckily its far more complex then that, as I have discovered in my research into the life of William West of Tredenham. Woolf, Hornblower, Trevithick, West, Grose, Loam, Sims-all great engineers associated with Cornish steam engine development, and all with amazing stories.
