He is perfectly suited to being on his own, but ruling over others seems so much better. He is not a social butterfly like some others and he likes to be in control.
Strong, curious, and energetic, Markus often succeeds where others fail. His deepest desire is to overcome the odds, to triumph, and to prove himself to the world. He is willing to give up a considerable amount of personal needs, but in return he can use what others consider disadvantages to his advantage. That is his greatest power. Even when he was a Witch he was noted for these strong characteristics. He was never one to back down form a fight and as a ruler he is never going to back down from the fact that his kind is the greatest creation the world has ever seen and will purify the world of it's tainted species with a swift hand of power.

Markus seems to prove to all of Solum that to be a vampire means to have such high thoughts of oneself that no one else in the world seems at all visible or up to standards with one. Markus has a bad habit at trying to push things forward for his own benefit rather than the kingdoms. It is this reason that the Arbiter and Dirigeant also hold a seat of power in Xuin to ensure his intentions can benefit not just himself but the kingdom as well.

The Obshta's Sword: 
This blade was a creation of his own. When Markus was a Witch he was made as the Obshta. A law he had approved by the Kralitsa to have the Obshta's make their own swords with their own blessings upon it became a tradition. In order for him to be fully made into an Obshta he had to make a blade of his own. He found a metal of nothing ever seen before. There were no other sources of it, but what he had used to forge his blade and the rest was stored deep within the Palace. He called the metal Obshtanium: The metal of General's. then he wanted to put a piece of his own true creation into the mix. He summoned forth a creature feared for it's deadly venom and even deadlier appetite for human flesh. The Chimera was slain before being casted back into the depths of where it had risen and Markus used the bone of a Chimera to make his handle.
The Dominus Blade: 
A single blade forged by a Vampire Blacksmith for the Dominus to show his position in power of which eh may pass down to the one who replaces him.
Skoúro Foniás (Dark Slayer) 
This balde was personally desired by Markus so that he may wield a balde in battle that so many will come to fear. It is made from a black steel that is stronger than any blade like it. It is stained by the blood of many unfortunate souls.
Storm Blade: 
This blade was designed from a metal stone that ahd fallen form the skies and was struck three times by lightening. It is said to be this type of metal is the only thing that can ever truly slay Markus. It was forged in Xuin to represent his harnessing of lightening as it was his element as a Witch and overcoming the element as a new being. The black blade is said to touch Markus and turn him into stone with the same strength of the sun. The handle is pure gold as it only seemed fitting for him. Should this blade ever pierce the Dominus' skin he will become stone for eternity without the assistance of sun stones or any form of magic. Markus believes it wise to hold his greatest weakness closest to him.

BIOGRAPHY INFORMATION

Antony Nikolae and Amelia Trinity Rosa were well respected in the Kingdom of Solum. Their love for one another out did any comparison. Antony was Knight and Amelia was a Lady-in-Waiting. The two married young both witches and both madly in love at the age of 693. They remained childless for almost a sixty years before the great division. Then, their first born being a daughter they named her Alice Grace Rosa. Nearly a century later a son was born, Rowland Antony Rosa. The couple were so happy to have their two children who seemed so perfect in their eyes.
Rowland grew up to become a Riteris of the Ӕldingar army. Alice became the Patiri Brak who swore men off. They seemed like the perfect family even more so when Antony and Amelia had another son. Markus Nikolae Rosa was said by their daughter the Patiri Brak to be great in his future. He was seen to hold a high authority of power over armies and people. This was a blessing to Antony and Amelia. As it was foretold it was so. Markus grew up and went beyond the rank of his brother, Rowland, by becoming an Obshta. With such a high seat of power he was invited to spend many meals with the Kralitsa and got to know her eldest daughter quite well.
Markus and the Korona Banphrionsa slowly began to grow closer and closer in a deep starcrossed lover fiasco. Markus at last asked for his beloved's hand in marriage and she accepted.
Their life seemed so perfectly together and no one could dare push them apart from one another. Well, that was until he sought his sister to bless their marriage. She held both of their hands together with her own and her smile faded from joy for her brother to a disturbed sorrow. She told them that she would have to speak silently to the gods for guidance for this was a great bondage for the two and it could affect the entire kingdom and all of Solum. The news only made it seem only more important that he be with the love of his life. Markus couldn't have been happier. He truly was in love with her. He would do as she asked and stay by her side simply to be embraced by her very presence. She was Markus's only reason for living, his only reason for breathing, eating, or even loving. He devoted his life in oath to her even before marriage.
Unfortunately, fate had another idea for the two of them and it would rip their souls apart for an eternity to come. Markus and his beloved awaited an answer from Alice, who had already resigned as the Patiri Brak, and Vivian, Alice's apprentice and replacement, only to recieve dark news from the mother of his heart's beloved. The Kralista was informed privately by Alice & Vivian both of their visions. They told her that their marriage would sire offspring who will bring nothing but darkness to Ӕldingar and all of Solum would fall to it's knees at the power they wielded.
The news from the Kralista was to break off their engagement. She could not be more happy for her daughter's love, but she had to look out for her kingdom and it's people. She had to do what was best for them and a rise of darkness was certainly not a good thing for anyone.
Markus was heartbroken that he was then forbidden form ever seeing his heart's desire ever again. She was lost to him forever. It was then that he allowed his temper to get the best of him. His final words to the Kralista, "I swear upon all my heart's love for your daughter that I will have your head and power over all of Ӕldingar. You will feel the might of the god's upon you for ripping my soul in two and you will reap what you sow!"
Markus was then discharged from his position as Obshta and in his discharge of position in power he stuck to his vow against the Kralista. He began to perform dark arts in a secret place within the kingdom summoning dark beings and even darker entities until at last summoning forth a creature claiming to be the forgotten son of Luna, the Moon Goddess. The demonic entity offered power beyond imagining to Markus and those who remained loyal to him. He warned them of Sol's anger against them should they accept, but Markus took the chance for power to be with his beloved. It came to no surprise that his rage grew greater against all of the kingdom. His followers at last feeling the power flow through them, but hiding from the light of the Sun to not be caught in the eye of Sol, the Sun god. They discovered to retain their immortal forms they had to feed from the lifeforce of those who walk in the day. Witches and Mortals were dying left and right being discovered dead or sometimes disappearing altogether.
At last with great investigation it was discovered a dark cult led by a male named Markus Rosa. The dark witches were calling themselves a new form of Immortal, Vampires. The Kralista took immediate action and had them all forced from the kingdom by law of banishment. Already being an independant woman the Kralista at last set laws against males. Making them next to humble slaves to the women. Unable to bare arms unless recruited for the army and unable to defensively use magic against a female for any reason. They were unable to leave their homes without a female escort and at last it was seen that things may be placed back into order and peace.
Markus and his kind fled to a land far from the eye of Sol and into lands long forgotten by mortals. Solum, the pure kingdom was to be their humble foundation for a new life.
Many mortals and Witches alike tracked them down and sought to destroy the Vampires completely, which seemed almost possible during the day. By the eye of Sol stone shall replace the Vampires. By the heart of Luna their power shall grow in her presence. Markus after establishing a new kingdom he called Xuin decided they needed daylight protection. Sending forth his followers into the cities and villages in the kingdom of Vada they gathered mortals. After practicing every night it was said that Markus spoke to Luna directly and was taught how to create the creatures known as Lycans. They could protect the Vampires and be bonded to them for life.
In a matter of 200 years since the leaving of Ӕldingar the Vampires erected anew Kingdom from the ruins of an old forgotten kingdom and created an entire civilization of a new species to protect their stoney forms during the hours of Sol. The kingdom of Xuin has flourished under the reign of Markus and two others at his side. With almost 700 years of prosperity Markus has achieved more than any kingdom in Solum. He even found a consort and any male or female consort of the three rulers were given a title known as a Shoqërues. Unfortunately, his mate was murdered by a spy of Ӕldingar. Markus then received word from a spy of his own that a caravan would be sent out to Vada containing one of the Banphrionsa's of Ӕldingar. He believes completely in an eye for an eye and he has sent a troop of his own under the protection of his power during the day to assassinate the Kralista's daughter to prove that they will not tolerate such actions form any kingdom.
Markus has already set up a form of peace with Vada for as long as mortals are sent to them for the creation of new Lycans and food they will be proved with protection from the Xuin.
Now, Markus works to plan new strategies against his enemy and desires to initiate his old vow against the Kralista very soon. War is upon all of Solum and sides will need to be picked the Vampires have great numbers almost as the third of angels who fell from heaven they will march into the lands of their enemies and slaughter every man, woman, and child who stands in their way, and Markus will retrieve his ancient beloved.

{†} Personality {†} He is a two faced man there is no doubt about that. He might be second to the Dominus but that doesn't stop him from manipulating both first and second roles. On the surface he will act like the doting, charming Arbiter and will do whatever it is that is commanded of him, almost acting like a high class butler. But he has a deadly edge that you don't want to get too close to. He exudes class, sophistication, respect and he never falters to be almost too perfect in doing his duty. When young supple creatures are around however, he becomes a devilish flirt, anyone that takes his fancy and he will charm the pants off them without them even realising sometimes. Despite him acting like a servant to the crown he is really pulling the strings of many puppets. He will kill without mercy and doesn't exactly care about shedding any kind of blood if it means getting rid of unwanted, infectious creatures that have no benefit to the world. He loves to watch people writhe in pain and will sometimes torture someone for days even weeks with no reason sometimes if it takes his fancy. He only looks out for himself, everyone else is just collateral that he can use to gain more for himself, after all why not have more. More is better, more is fun, more gains you unlimited access. Don't expect him to show feelings for others because he doesn't have the capacity anymore unless you can somehow worm your way into his intricate system of blockades. Have fun tangling yourself within his web because there is no escape.

BIOGRAPHY INFORMATION
{†} Backstory {†} Valentine was born on a soft spring day. His parents were told by the Patiri Brak that he would bring about change one day, that he could become something great or bring about great things. They were grateful to here such a thing because they weren't very well off but they wanted the best for their son. He grew up with a very basic child hood, nothing dramatic ever happened and things were simple. He was very good at learning and would spend half his time playing and the other half at the library with the monks who taught him. As time wore on he continuously thought up mad ideas that would help his parents at the farm, but each time he tried to make something it never worked out. As he got older he was never good with women but he found he was getting much better at inventing up things and discovering new ideas. So when at festival that happened every year a young women bumped into him he thought things were too good to be true. He started spending less time on his inventions and more time with her, little did he know she was a mind controlling vampire. But when he finally invented something of use she got ticked off and found he wasn't paying her nearly as much attention as he had been nor was he buying her what she wanted. So to teach him a lesson she turned him out of greed and took his invention for herself, almost laughing in his face as she did so. Turning only made his more negative traits more prominent. So for back stabbing him he tracked her down and killed her, wanting what was rightfully his back. Initially he had only meant to fight her, but he'd gained strength and speed so things didn't exactly go as planned. But what the little bitch didn't tell him was that she had been pregnant when they were together and had given birth to a little maggot before she stole from him. He had been so consumed by his invention that he hadn't even bothered to notice. So when he found a flailing little thing wrapped in cloth he thought of silencing it out of anger and pity. Because he didn't want it. But then he realised he might as well use it for something, it might come in handy so he to make a point he changed her into a little nightmare of a vampire. He kept his daughter but made her fend for herself most of the time, only giving her what essentials she needed for her to grow until she could do most things for herself. But once the banishment took place he had to leave and that was when he met the Dominus. He won his position because of his new found angry passion and the fact that he had potential. Since then he has been growing in blood thirst, swiftness and cunning, learning the art of fighting. Now he doesn't bother with inventions very much, only ever tinkering with his time when he has come up with something that can be very useful to him in battle or otherwise. Now he is all about power, all about being his own man and about dividing and conquering.

BIOGRAPHY INFORMATION
{†}Backstory{†} Born in the dark of night, Amelia did not know her mother. She was changed soon after her birth into a vampire by her father, Valentine. As she grew up, she did not have much contact with her father. She only saw him when he gave her the bare necessities to stay alive. She constantly tried to win his love. She did anything he asked her to do. Once she learned what her powers were, she tried to use them to influence her father's emotion. Sometimes it would work but more often than not it would only last for a little while before his true feelings came back.
Amelia did not have many friends as she grew up. The other vampires liked to use her for her power and manipulate the emotions of others, letting her be the one to take the blame. She internalized this and tries to forget it is there. She awaits the day though when she will get something from her father. She dreams of the day when a smile will cross his face and she will be the one to put it there. Not through her powers though, but through something that she did for him.

{†} Personality {†} Jakub possesses a strong personality which confers him an ascendency over others. He is active, energetic, dynamic, courageous and of a passionate nature. Seemingly adaptable and accommodating, he is nonetheless capable of gently but firmly asserting his rights and ideas, occasionally with a touch of cunning and opportunism or even by amoral means: like an iron fist in a velvet glove... He has many plans and plenty of great ideas, although he needs to learn to put them into practice.

BIOGRAPHY INFORMATION
{†} Backstory {†} After Markus and his cult were exiled from Ӕldingar Markus came to the realization eh still needed a legacy to continue his power should something happen to him. He chose a mate and within a hundred years of being bonded they had their first son it was not but a century later they gave birth to yet another son, Jakub Nathaniel. It wasn't until he was 23 that he decided to keep his form as it was. The years went on and Jakub grew up as any royal, spoiled and raised as a prat. However his older brother was even more spoiled allowing him access into private rooms and discussions of politics and war councils. Jakub was 198 when he could no longer take his brother's antics. He killed him. Offering a walk through the mountains the brothers discussed their loyalty to their father, Markus and Xuin. both had common grounds, but Jakub's voice would go unheard if he were to remain the second son. Upon the mountains far from the earshot of screams Jakub pushed his brother from the highest cliff point that dropped down into the fissure of a glacier. He presumed that the sun's rays would turn his brother stone ebfore he reached the bottom and would leave him in shatters.
He returned out of breath with fear stricken upon his face. He told the guards and everyone he came in contact with even his father that he and his brother were ambushed by Witches of Ӕldingar. His father could detect no lies and so Markus made it a point to have a funeral for his eldest son and then a passage of rites for his new eldest son.
Jakub was more included with the politics of everything and the strategics of wars. He loved it until he came to the realization that his father desired him to be a Vampire only out of reasons unknown. Jakub refused Markus and has learned over the years that Markus only rules for himself and his own benefit. He cares about no one but himself and he has proven time and time again the just was not a word to describe him. Now, Jakub plots against his father in hopes to overthrow him if not kill him.

Lady Genevieve, his mother, was a Hefðarkona while his father, Lord Magnus Caderyn was a very wealthy noblemen in the kingdom. They had an arranged marriage, set by their families. Though they did not love each other, they cared deeply for each other and were a great united force. When Maximus was a born during the worst storms ever seen. It was considered by the Patiri Brak, to be a sign of his strength. Patikir Brak, also, predicted that Maximus will need all of his strength for his true battle will come one day and he will either rise to it or fall.
When his mother was accused of breaking a law and executed for it before his eyes, Maximus had a burning fire of hatred grow for the kingdom of Ӕldingar. And it wasn’t until he lost his father as well, losing everything he only hand, he became consumed with anger, hatred and desire to destroy. A destructive passion that caused him to murder any and all Ӕldingar that stood in his way. It was not long before he learned of the dark arts and a powerful man who dared to ago against Ӕldingar.
When Maximus, by pure accident, found himself fighting beside the new king, known as Markus Nicolae Rosa, he saw greatness. And the Dominus seemed to have saw something in Maximus as well, for he allow him to join in his fight and later become his general.

BIOGRAPHY INFORMATION
{†} Backstory {†}(Being born during a moonless night, Irina was sired nine months earlier by Markus Rosa and an unknown female known as her mother. She was never interested in knowing who the other half of her parentage was so therefore never asked about it. Even if she had of asked it would have been unlikely to receive an answer (at least that is what she presumes). As a child she was always happy and friendly towards people. It wasn't until she was a teenager that her more sensitive side came to light. One day when she wasn't feeling her usual self, another student started to mock her about how she always seemed to be high or drunk. This ignited a fire inside of her and she sought her revenge. Needless to say that was the first and last time she was mocked by said student.
When she reached the age of twenty one, her beauty was captivating to most men around her. Not that she cared in the slightest. Irina's interest was in learning and gaining as much knowledge as she could. Relationships had never really to her, and still don't to be honest. It was at this time Irina decided to become a vampire. Even though she is a royal, she never seemed spoilt and has always had a very grounded personality.
Irina's time has usually been spent in the library and away from most others, but when she started to get bored of the studying which she was once so interest in, she seemed to come out of her shell (really the only reason she chose to study was to keep out of the limelight. She felt it was safer that way). Strangely enough though she still stays away from her family. At least it is strange to them. Being older than Jakub, Irina was alive when their other brother "died". Having gained the power of psychometry by that time, she knew what had truly happened to her brother when she put her hand on Jakub's shoulder to comfort him. Secretly despising Jakub for his action and hating her father for not seeing through the lies he told, she finds it hard to be in their presence. It is where her constant thoughts of being killed originate from and why they won't ever go away.
