I don't want to say I hate this book but I hate this book. :/

The instalove in both timelines and romance is unreal.

Also god it just keeps going on repeating itself but never going anywhere. I thought they did something 50 pages ago but they are still talking about doing it?? Just leave already damn.

The writing is so mediocre and I've been bored the entire time I've been listening even though it was super dramatic, yikes.

Yeah, for me, that's definitely not my favourite relationship trope. =/

I think the Cuban-American politics are definitely the star of the book, but yeah, the rest of it's pretty slow.

Yeah those are good but it just felt like getting told a history book mixed with boring romances. ;-;
