What are the books that you hated?

Well, I didn't really like Before I fall the book was good, but the ending was really confusing and I didn't really understand. So that's one book. I also didn't like The Lorien Legacies. I am Number four sounded really interesting to me, but the book was was hard for me to get through.

Kageyama Tobio (kageyamatobio) I also didn't like I am Number Four that much. I found the writing extremely boring and the characters plain.

I don't like Twilight. Don't even know how it got popular.

50 shades of Gray was quite horrible too. Can't believe a movie's being made on it... *shivers*

:D. they make I am #4 sound so good. esp. The movie trailer. Twilight, i like the movies. I didn't read 50 shades of gray.

The Cay
Warriors Don't Cry was an in between of liking and disliking so...

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

The Cay?? I read it as a book club for school. i thought it was good. Why didn't you like it?

♥Booknerdswift♥ | 56 comments The beginning of it was so confusing and the black guy's(not to be that kind of person) accent was just hard to understand. I just couldn't get into it. And the ending was even more confusing.

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

Yah, his accent was a bit confusing. Same with the ending, but i still liked it.

The Darkest Minds was also really confusing and boring. I read half way through and couldn't finish it.

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

I know! So confusing!

Kageyama Tobio (kageyamatobio) More books that I disliked (not necessarily hated):
Harry Potter; I read this back when I was a little kid, so if a book could keep me interested, praise the lords, and I was fine with Harry Potter until the 4th book. I was extremely bored.
The Scorch Trials; I was disappointed in this one, especially since I loved the first book. I just felt that Thomas wasn't really developed well (and plus, he just kept fainting) and I felt the plot was all over the place.
Allegiant; don't get me started, I swear.
The Raft; the main character has absolutely zero survival skills (view spoiler)

May (theladymidnight) I strongly disliked Twilight and Death of a Salesman (worst book I had to read for school).

Selah Harms (selahharms) About "I am #4." Should I read it? Because I saw the movie and it was really exciting and interesting, and I liked it. But if the book wasn't good like you guys are saying, then I don't waste my time with it.
Also, my least-favorite book ever is the first in the Bamboo Blade series. The main character was a wimp.
