Are there any science fiction stories that feature Canadian tech/places/characters etc.? I'm curious about Canadian sci-fi authors, too (I am one) but more interested in stories featuring some element of Canadiana. For example, a Canadian moon base or space probe that finds aliens or something, or a mad Canuck scientist. I prefer realistic SF, but just for curiosity's sake, anything in the genre is good to know about. Cheers.

You might try Darwin's Bastards: Astounding Tales from Tomorrow or This Is How You Lose the Time War
Robert J Sawyer is a pretty good Canadian Sci-Fi author. I've enjoyed everything by him that I've read.
@ Kaz - Company Town by Canadian author Madeline Ashby was one of 5 Canada Reads' contenders in 2017. Am not a huge sci-fi reader but I read and really enjoyed the book - a fierce heroine, the story takes place in the future on the oil rigs off Newfoundland, lots of imaginative technology, Maritime weather and Newfoundland slang that got on some nerves but they still enjoyed the book. I couldn't put the book down (but again don't have lots of sci-fi read to compare with). I think it might be worth a try.
