Author Toni Morrison has died

I was taking an English Lit class in 1974 and while wandering the campus library I found "Sula". I fell in love with the way Ms. Morrison wrote. You can feel the character's coming off the pages as you read.
I read "Sula" as my Oral book report. It was a chancy project for a white 25yr. to take on, but I couldn't leave the book. I received an A for the Oral part and my teacher gave me a + as I was the oldest in the class and he felt I put the empathy into my recitation that the story needed.
I've read everything Ms. Morrison has written and she has never let me down.
