Xuin was once a lost kingdom in ruins. Hidden in the mountains Xuin is built into the face of a cliff and shrouded completely by constant fog and storm clouds. It was said to once be a beautiful kingdom by the same name of the land. Solum.
With towering structures it was once made of solid marble. the Kingdom itself was only founded 700 years ago being the youngest kingdom in Solum.

Not long after the Kingdom of Solum was divided the Witches of the kingdom went out and in the deep heart of the forest founded a kingdom of their own. Ӕldingar was a prosperous kingdom that has kept it's royal structure since it's founding. However, some of the Witches found greater power in the Dark Arts and became twisted by the constant use of them. They summoned dark entities that gave them a new life almost 700 years ago.
The Witches were cursed by the power of Sol, God of the Sun, their abuse of their powers was frowned upon and Luna, Goddess of the Moon, took pity upon them and allowed them to be given their power during her time of reign. The twisting of their magic created Vampires. They were simply banished from the kingdom of Ӕldingar. Knowing the old stories of the Kingdom of Solum they reached it's ruins and founded a new kingdom. Xuin rose with dark powers that no mortal could ever see possible. The Vampires were seen as dark creatures...even more so when they created Lycans.

Vampires can have children they are not creatures in today's myth being of the undead they are simply bloodthirsty demonic witches. In order for anyone to become a Vampire for a Witch they must take the Dark Magic oath before the leaders of Xuin and perform a dark ritual. For a Mortal to be made a Vampire they must be turned. When a Vampire has a child with a Vampire it will be born a Witch. If a Vampire has a child with a mortal it will either be born mortal or a Witch.
Vampires aren't born they are like Lycan's created.

The history of these shapeshifters is a sad one. The Witches turned into Vampires by dark magic realized the day was their curse. Turning into stone by the light of day, they knew they needed protection. Instead of turning mortals into their kind they instead created something far different. Mortal's were captured and put under the influence of the Vampire rulers. Later, they were forced by binding magic to protect the Vampires during the day as they clearly were making enemies. The Lycan species was created being forced to change into their inner animal some learned control to do it at will, but other younger ones were forced to shift at the rising of a full moon.

Lycans can be born, only if both parents are Lycans, this is extremely rare and in Xuin practically unheard of. If a Lycan mates with a Vampire or Witch the child will be born a Witch. If they mate with a mortal as they so often do it will be born a mortal. For two Lycan's to breed together in Xuin is considered an abomination the species must have a bondage to the Vampires as their protectors, if one is born a Lycan they have no Master and only the Dominus can call them forth. This is considered illegal in Xuin due to the mere fact that it will be considered a free creature. The parents and the creature will both be killed if discovered in the kingdom of Xuin. However, Markus the ruler of Xuin has his own Lycan born Lycan whom he had so graciously spared the life of.

Ӕldingar was founded after the witches realized they were very different from mortals. Their power was something to be cherished not used to develop higher buildings and structures and weapons of mortals. The Kralista kept trade up with Vada out of mere gratitude they were giving one another for respecting boundaries. They were founded almost 5,000 years ago after the great divide from the Kingdom of Solum.

Witches were said to be the favored Immortals of the god's. It was said that Sol and Luna blessed them greatest above all beings and gave them immortality so that they too could be like their gods. The Witches were given powers over the elements and were made to be defined separately from mere mortals. They were given higher callings of which they had to take with responsibility. Mortals could not be trusted with the powers of witches or their immortality and therefore were cast from the sight of the gods as simple ants.
The witches were regarded as higher beings who brought great prosperity to the lands of Solum and the Kingdom of Solum. When the Great Division came about it was around 6,000 years ago that the witches either went with mortals or to their own kinds. Those who stayed with the mortals in the mountains tried their hardest to keep Solum a prosperous kingdom, but unfortunately, their numbers were few and Solum was a vast kingdom. Many perished but others moved on. That led into the founding of Vada and later the founding of Ӕldingar.
{۞Witch Procreation۞}
Witches in the kingdom of Ӕldingar have a strict law to only mate with other witches. Should one mate with a Lycan the child will be considered filth to Witch kind unless it is a gifted witch. A Witch mating with a mortal is possible and the children normally are born mortals with alchemic gifts for simple potion making and such. It is extremely rare for a Witch to mate with a mortal and have a full Witch child.
Ӕldingar, the kingdom of power and nobility. Ruled by a race of immortal's known as witches. Deep into the forest hidden by the forest this thriving kingdom is known for it's noble's and it's way of sorting out issues in a less physical form.
Xuin is the kingdom in the mountains ruled under dark forces who hold an unstoppable army. These immortal's here are known as vampires and wills top at nothing to ensure that every race is put in their place below them. They envision themselves as the only true pure race and all others are below them. This is Solum and there is only one who can rule over it fully. Will it be the Matriarch of Eldingar, the Lords of Xuin, or the King of Vada?
