Quail-light padded out of the nursery and avoided all of her clanmates. She knew that Flintclaw had gone out hunting. With this knowledge the grieving queen slipped out of the camp UNNOTICED .

Flintclaw padded back into camp with fresh prey in his jaws. He set the prey down then went over to the nursery to check on Quail-light. Though once he went into the nursery his heart dropped. Where is she? Calm down maybe she's just in the medicine den or maybe she our in camp. No, what am I thinking I would've known someone would've told me. He panicked and rushed out into camp.

Rowan pawed at Quail-light's face gently as she carried him. He purred softly at his mommy happy she came back for him.

Quail-light padded into camp and could barely contain her joy as Rowan batted at her lightly.

Flintclaw spotted his mate and rushed over to her, wrapping himself around her. He still hadn't noticed the kit, too preoccupied with making sure she was okay. "You scared me I thought something had happened." He murmured.

Rowan accidentally batted at Flintclaw hitting his nose lightly.

Flintclaw felt something bat his nose. With a shocked expression he gazed at the kit. "Quail-light who's this?" He asked completely shocked.

Quail-light gave her mate a look that said she couldn't talk seeing Rowan was in her jaws.

Rowan mewled out hungrily batting at his momma again purring.

Quail-light purred happily and mentioned for Flintclaw to follow her as she padded towards the nursery, not even bothering to tell the leader first. She laid down in her nest and placed Rowan down beside her. "There you go little one." She purred and curled around him.

Flintclaw purred when he saw his mate happy. He followed her and couldn't contain his joy. "Where did you find him?"

"Snake Rocks."

"What?!?!" Flintclaw shouted worriedly. He gave her a shocked and frightened look.

Rowan started to nurse greedily. His hunger showed quickly, it was easy to assume that he never got fed.

Quail-light sighed. "I found him by Snake Rocks. I'm sorry." She murmured.

Flintclaw sighed and gazed at Rowan and noticed how greedily he fed. "Then I'm grateful you found him." He replied and wrapped himself around her again. He figured why she was there and was grateful that the kit had been there.

Rowan fell asleep next to her completely relaxing.

Quail-light smiled and nuzzled against Flintclaw and Rowan. "His name is Rowan." She told him gently.

Flintclaw's eyes widened, but then he relaxed again and smiled at the sleeping kit.

Quail-light had fallen asleep nuzzled against Flintclaw.

Rowan stretched in his sleep rolling onto his back. He batted at something in his sleep. His little paws flailing in the air.

Flintclaw chuckled lightly and tickled the kits nose with his tail as Rowan flailed his paws.

Rowan woke up and mewled softly as he caught Flintclaw's tail and gnawed on it.

Flintclaw purred when Rowan caught his tail. Though he stole his tail back and smiled. "Now now my tail isn't a chewing toy." He joked.

Rowan tried to go after it slowly purring loudly his little chest rumbling

Flintclaw chuckled again and played with him as his mate slept peacefully. He tickled the kits nose with his tail once again.

Rowan stretched his legs out and squeaked out a yawn.

"Go to sleep little one I'm sure you've had a long day." Flintclaw purred and pulled him closer to Quail-light.

Rowan curled close to his momma and pawed at her.

Quail-light purred in her sleep and curled around Rowan.

Flintclaw smiled as he watched his mate and Rowan. He licked Quail-light head gently before resting his head onto her shoulder.

Rowan mewled out loudly when he woke up.He felt around for Quail-light.

Quail-light felt Rowan move beside her. She yawned and curled around the small kit.

Flintclaw smiled as he felt Quail-light move. He yawned and licked her head.

((I want his eyes to open...))

((Go ahead, you could always say he's older. ))

Rowan stood up carefully and struggled opening his eyes. He looked around the nursery a bit overwhelmed.

Quail-light yawned and gazed at Rowan. She was shocked that his eyes were opened and purred. "Hello my little Rowan."

Flintclaw gave them a loving look and nuzzled against his mate once again.

"H....Hello.."Rowan whispered softly and looked at her smiling.

"Are you ok?" She asked worriedly. "You had me worried yesterday." Quail-light meowed.

Rowan nodded and climbed on top of Quail-light and curled into a small ball.

Quail-light purred as she felt her kit curl on top of her. She then smiled at Flintclaw, who was beaming at them.
