Rowan pawed blindly mewling out loudly for his mother.

After Quail-light had regained her breath she changed course towards Snake Rocks. She knew that she could provoke a snake there and then join her kits in StarClan once again. She padded slowly towards the deadly rocks. Though stopped dead when she heard what sounded like a kit. Perking her ears she gazed around for the small creature.

Rowan mewled louder and stumbled over his paws. He felt the sun start shining in his pelt. He mewled out desperately.

Quail-light gazed at the kit completely shocked. She padded over to him hickey and curled around him. "Hush little one, I'm here. I'm here my little Rowankit." She murmured. She actually believed that that kit was her son, he looked exactly like her son Rowankit except for the length of the tail, but other than that they looked identical.

Rowan mewled out and nuzzled Quail-light.

Quail-light purred happily when he nuzzled against her. She licked the top of his head before picking him up by his scruff. All thoughts of her deceased kits vanished at that moment. Though deep down she knew he wasn't her kit, but something else told her that he was.
