I shall start.I did not like it. I didn't care for Colin at all. I found his whininess such a turn off. I enjoyed Lindsey.
Though all of Green's early female protagonists seem to have this whole "Oh, I have this boyfriend, but guess what? I love this other guy instead!"
You know what I mean? In Looking For Alaska it's the same thing, I feel like Green purposely has his female characters date guys that he knows won't stand a chance to the main guy. It's kind of annoying...
Personally, I love this book. Not only are there additional foot notes for us to understand what Colin is trying to say but also we get to take a look at what goes on in colin's brain and how he thinks. It's like John green broke the wall of just emotions and thoughts and added in thoughts behind the main character thoughts! There's definations, graphs, venn diagrams, explainations and fun facts. What more can you ask for? John green gave alot of thought in thinking up a character like Colin and ALOT of research into this book. Although I agree with Amber on Lindsey Lee Wells and I also agree with most of the people in the community reviews that Colin is VERY whiny, I still love and enjoyed this book nethertheless.

I liked Colin's anagramming skills, I loved the Katherine flashbacks, the nonlinear style was nice, and I loved the footnotes so much, which I point out in my review. I liked that Hassan was a religious character who was determined to date out of religious reasons, that's unique to see in novels. I have a friend who really liked this book because he could relate to Colin, though he said he's not as whiny. :)
As I have aced my love for John Green, that also clearly means that when I read this book quite a while ago. I loved it!Colin was a very good character and as John Green manages to do, he made him alive. Colin is my absolute favorite character from this book.
And Hassan was my mom's favorite when I told her to read it, and let's state that now it's her favorite book of all time. Well, maybe not of all time, but whatever.
If you haven't read this yet, add it to your TBR pile and read it when you can :)
This book was the part of a John Green streak I did after finishing Looking for Alaska. I found this book decent enough, not great, not bad. It was good. I don't remember much right now, but iirc, the characters were funny and cool.
