I personally think it's too much, but what are your guys's opinions?

I mean, I don't even get Frank and Hazel. Hazel is thirteen...and Frank is like, sixteen...

Far too much romance in the series. I love Riordan's writing, but I feel like half the time he has no idea that teenagers are capable of platonic relationships. It's irritating, but ya in general is being dominated by puppy love.

^^^This. I mean, a little is okay, but it's like the author pulled the writing prompt: "Pair up two of your characters!" a million times.
