I have a write-up of "Cry Witch!" at the Scrolls of Lankhmar. If you are giving it five stars, be sure to head over to the Wiki and actually give it five stars! ;)

You would think that for such an obscure one-off magazine, Leiber's would be the star story. But check out who wrote the thirteen featured stories!
John Wyndham [as by John Beynon] "Tyrant and Slave-Girl on Planet Venus"
A. E. van Vogt "Haunted Atoms"
Fritz Leiber "Cry Witch!"
C. M. Kornbluth "Friend to Man"
Franklin Gregory "The Poisonous Soul"
Arthur C. Clarke "Sentinel of Eternity" (Earliest version of 2001: A Space Odyssey)
August Derleth "The Other Side of the Wall"
Donald A. Wollheim [as by Martin Pearson] "Private World"
Lester del Rey "Uneasy Lies the Head"
Kris Neville "Seeds of Futurity"
L. Sprague de Camp "Getaway on Krishna"
K. W. Bennett "Who Builds Maos Traps?"
Gene A. Davidson "The Woodworker"
Best of all, this magazine with these 13 stories can be read for free here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1grF8...
"Cry Witch!" was a wonderfully executed fairy tale. One could wish it had more dialogue, but then fairy tales are usually skimpy on that score. Five stars for sure.
