Here the Witches will gather to praise Luna and Sol and pay respects to their ancestors. It is a crucial part of their power to ensure they can continue their line of power as immortals and they find religion is a key point to drawn energy and focus their powers. This is also a place where female witches are granted respects for coming into their powers. Any male who enters this temple is to be escorted by a female, without which they will be arrested. The witches come here to read over their scrolls of law that set in motion that the race of males are put in a place under the females. New Male members are blessed her to always follow their women and serve them in sickness and in health til death do they part. It is a law that when a hierarchy female of a family dies her sons are to die with her.

Aeson stood outside the Hall of Praise in hopes to find his daughter close by. He was unable to enter even as the Kralista's mate without some female escort. He did have some freedoms though the other males did not. He stood in silence as many nodded their respects to him only out of respect to the Kralista. Many of the female Witches of the age were sided with the Kralista's choice against males practically enslaving them and forcing their freedom and rights out of their grasp. Aeson loved his mate, himeko enough to not feel sour toward her. He had children with her and theyw ere no production of simple mating uses, but each time they laid together it was making love never for simple pleasure or reproduction, btu to be one with one another. His sadness only came for his daughter who refused to have the same kind of love with another male, but the one her heart belonged to so long ago.

Antonia (adf7793) It never occurred to her how long it took to get to the Hall of Praise before, though maybe that had been because she had never been so eager to be there. Severity had been having nightmares for days...maybe even weeks, honestly she had stopped counting the number of times that she had woken up drenched in sweat with her heart racing wildly. The same couldn't be said of her twin, Serenity, the poor girl seemed to have come down with something. Strange considering they were immortal, but not unheard of. One of the main reasons why Sev was on her way to pray in the first place. Serenity was the one chosen to go to Vada to negotiate a treaty, and if she couldn't well...Severity didn't even want to think about it. Ӕldingar needed this alliance with Vada, more than others cared to admit. If Vada were to side with Xuin the results could be disastrous. She had been so wrapped up in her thoughts that she didn't hear anyone calling out to her, at least, not until she collided with them.

Aeson straightened his daughter before she could cause either of them to fall, "Severity, My dear what is troubling you so much you have lost your grace?" He asked with kind eyes. He smiled so sweetly seeing her mother in her eyes, but at the same time he saw himself in those same eyes. "I have pressing matters of discussion for you, but I must know what troubles you first." He urges ensuring his daughter held between hsi arms. "You cannot hide your emotions form your own father. I must ask you let them out." He urges praying her heart is not still set on Markus. He was not someone to be loved anymore he was not the man she fell in love with.

Antonia (adf7793) "Apologies," Severity blinked rapidly, as if trying to clear her mind and smiled softly at him. "I haven't been sleeping well as of late, not with Serenity feeling under the weather...especially when her departure for Vada is supposed to be in a few days." Kali didn't mention the nightmares, they'd only make him worry about her more. It seemed her father had been doing much of that lately, and she loathed that she was one the main causes. With a shrug Severity glanced away, towards the balcony her icy orbs flashed with the longing. It had been awhile since she had left the palace, she felt confined by the walls. "If my twin cannot make the journey then we need to find a replacement and soon, Vada could already be siding with...our ene...with Xuin." She could not bring herself to say enemies.

Aeson knew that she was holding back information to keep him from worrying. He felt so bound to her by law and as a father. "I fear that your sister's illness has taken a turn for the worst and she will not be able to make the trip. I have spoken with your mother and I believe we will be considering you, Kali." He tells her with a fatherly smile. "I understand your heart is still weighed by centuries past....However, we feel you would make an excellent ambassador for us as the predecessor of the Kralista. I am not asking you to find a suitor in Vada, but I must ask you to amuse your mother with the idea." He says plainly not wanting to upset her for he knew all too well that she would rebel against such an action, much less a thought of such an act. "Xuin is planning an act of rebellion against the order we long ago established due to actions of your foolish father." He says knowing how horrible of an act it was to make choices without the Kralista's approval, but he had to make actions the assassin that killed Markus's mate was most likely killed himself, but it showed that their kingdom would not bow to Xuin. "I'm sure the journey will be tireless for you, but perhaps you see your mother for further instruction on it." He says taking her by her arm softly as they walked into the Hall of Praise. "My dear daughter you must understand the difficulty in this choice, but I know you will do this kingdom and your worrisome father proud." He smiles so kindly. He felt pained at the thought of sending her off like this, but he knew that her sister was far to ill to make such a journey.

Antonia (adf7793) Severity couldn't prevent from frowning when her father explained that they had all but decided she should be the one to go. As much as she disliked the idea, she had to admit that she was surprised her mother was even considering it. Sev refusal to take a husband after...well, it hadn't gained her any favors with the powerful figures of Ӕldingar. She was sure there were still whispers that she were to blame for the creation of vampires. Which is why Kali worked so hard to prove herself to the subjects of Ӕldingar, that she could handle ruling on her own. "I know that the alliance was my idea, but I doubt I would be the best choice to replace Serenity." Unable to match his smile, she glanced ahead as they walked into the Hall of Praise. Sev would go if she must, but only to negotiate a union between one of the King's sons and one of her sisters. A husband was something she did not desire, nor need. Once they made it into the hall, Severity made the mistake of looking over at her father. His smile made her heart stop, he loved her and her siblings so and she hated to deny him anything. Aeson had been one of the only things that kept Severity from crumbling after she lost Markus, forcing her to focus on her Kingdom rather than her broken heart. "If...if you truly think it is for the best that I go, I will..." He knew how much Sev valued his counsel.

Aeson nods to his daughter, "I know it will amke your mother happy and as I siad we are not asking you to marry a son of Vada, but simply negotiate terms of trade and alliance. My dear, sweet Kali. I love you enough to know that you need to get out and see all of Solum ebfore you are ever given any hold on the throne. Take it in as an experience that Ӕldingar is not the only kingdom and Witches are not the only ones affected by our choices." He told her as they walked to a large statue of the embodiment of Luna. "Come my daughter let us pray." He says as he kissed her cheek affectionately.

Antonia (adf7793) Taking a deep breath as he spoke, Severity tried to take her father’s words under consideration. It proved to be a harder feat than she expected, everything in her screamed to refuse. Almost as if she could sense something was going to happen. Severity nearly laughed at that thought, mentally chastising herself for allowing her nightmares to color the way she felt about the trip. Precognition was not her power, and it wasn’t as if she couldn’t handle herself in a fight or otherwise. Besides, her father was right. How could she plan to take over the throne one day if she was unwilling to leave Ӕldingar in order to form an alliance that could save it. Plus…as much as she hated to admit it, leaving the Kingdom even if for a little while seemed like a reprieve. To be able to walk the streets, or speak to someone who didn’t know everything about her…who she had once loved? It was too compelling to pass up. After their prayers, Severity hugged her father, “Thank you for still having faith in me…I will speak to mother about leaving arrangements.”

Aeson nods to his daughter as they exited the hall of praise. He was happy that she was choosing to take her sister's place. He was concerned for the both of them. Severity and Serenity were powerful beings who both held strong minds and wills, but Serenity was ill with something no Immortal physician could elaborate on or explain how. It was Severity who was left to keep the kingdom's in peace and order before a great war was to be brought upon them all. Aeson knew that Markus awaited in his fortress for the time to come and kill anyone who stood in his way of taking Ӕldingar by force. As they exited the hall Aeson gave his daughter a tight hug, "I love you dearly and I only want what is best, please be reasonable should your mother hold any conditions. Her heart is already heavy with burdens that not even I am allowed to know of." He says slightly pained that his beloved and his daughter still remained at odds with one another even after 700 years.
