SLCLS Genre Study discussion

For those who attended my discussion about True Crime, and heard my comment about "Some read sex in True Crime and some read it in Romance", I sincerely apologize. Especially in light of it being Banned Books week this week, and especially in my efforts to allow everyone to read whatever they wish without judgment. Yes some Romance has sex, so does some true crime, so do a lot of other books. They have violence, language and other things that get them banned at times. It is our obligation to not deride any person, or genre of book for what is in it, or what is not it - indeed, to not categorize any person or fit them in a category for what they read or assume they are what they read. I am sorry.
