What edition of this book did you read? The free Kindle edition.
Favorite characters? The kids, hehe. They were adorable.
Least favorite characters? Robert, Edna, Edna's husband.
Favorite part of the book? Didn't really have a favorite part.
Least favorite part of the book? Hard to pick a part I disliked more than the others.
Anything you would've changed about the book? I would've rewritten the suicide scene.
Any other thoughts? I'll have to study this book next semester in class, kinda glad it's out of the way and that I read it with people who added a lot to my reading.

For such a short book, I had a hard time sticking with it. It felt a bit tedious and the plot didn't push me along. It was as if the writer was suffering from depression when she wrote it. I can understand how that style might emphasize the ennui experienced by the main character, but I would still have expected there to be moments when the author would allow the emotional tempo of the story to 'soar' at key moments in the narrative. I didn't feel that.
