((Nah I'll delete this you post first))

"Of course" Isolde snorted." Be safe!" She said hugging him.
They parted ways. Isolde was thinking about what she had told Richard in her rooms and at the club. She felt so guilty, that she didn't see someone reaching from the dark alley. Then a hand wrapped around her mouth and one held a knife at her throat.
Richard heard a muffled squeak from nearby alley. He got up and wiped his face, making sure it was clear of any tears. He dashed over only to see Isolde being held prisoner by some guy who looked like the (fairly average) lowlife. Richard pulled out his weapon, which looked like a bit like a more elegant version of a bayonet. "Step away from the woman, sir." His eyes were more open than they had been, and his eyes were darker.

Without so much much as a twitch in the jaw, Richard raised lowered the gun so that it was aimed at the thug. He released the trigger, and a bullet flew from his gun to embed itself in the thug's forehead. "Do you have need of an escort back to the Council Skyscraper, or are you in good enough condition that you may help me carry this body to the Police Headquarters?"

"Shit," Richard cursed as he caught her before her head hit the ground. He ripped as strip of fabric from the bottom of her dress and used it to keep pressure applied to the wound. He dragged her towards the Council Skyscraper.

She thought that if she would die now, the only good thing is that she would be reunited with her parents and Rhiannon.
Richard didn't respond. He swallowed and gritted his teeth against the lump in his throat. Instead, he worked on dragging both the body and carrying Isolde back to the City Council Skyscraper.
There are skyscrapers reaching nearly as high as the Wall here. On the walls of every skyscraper, there are speakers and large display boards programmed to give the Council's messages.
At the bottom of these skyscrapers are clubs, ranging from burlesque style to more modest establishments.
Towards the middle, there are more stores. Some of the store types are more practical than others. The stores can be anywhere from posh department stores to gourmet food stores to music stores.
Above that are the flats. The higher the flat is, the poorer the person is. The flats are often three rooms with access to private and semi-private terraces.
There are also offices in some of the skyscrapers, and most of the jobs are high paying. The apartments are cheaper than their value, but all the items cost exactly their worth.
The streets are always perfectly paved and crowded, but they are still quiet the way the Middle City Slums' streets are: with fear. People here, however, are a bit more open, having seen less harshness from the Council.
Police are even less likely to be on the streets here, but every so often, there is a public demonstration here.
Parks with proper greenery and decorations can be found in a couple locations throughout the Heart of the City, giving a breath of breath of fresh air to the residents. Police will often arrest any homeless in the parks as "Cleaning", and those homeless are taken to the gaol.
The school is much nicer and bigger than the one in the Middle City Slums. Like that one, however, it is mandatory for students 8-16 to attend.
