Cally Eve Darrel's Bakery
((Yes, great!))Cally rubbed her counter. It was almost closing time. She breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully.
((Yay!))
Gavin walked into Cally's bakery, looking for a bite to eat. Also, he had been told he needed to give her a message, so it was serving a second purpose.
Gavin walked into Cally's bakery, looking for a bite to eat. Also, he had been told he needed to give her a message, so it was serving a second purpose.
"Yep, and it looks like I'm not in time for you to be happy to see a customer," he said with a smile. He leaned against the counter and winked. "So, what does the baker recommend?"
Cally smiled. "That depends. I recommend anything with chocolate, but weather or not you want chocolate cake, or a chocolate pastry, or maybe something completely different. Maybe you want fruit? I have some scones cooking."
"Sure," he agreed. "Whatever you want." He tried to draw her attention to his jacket by fiddling with the lapels.
((facepalm meant to write something else. I'll fix it))
"I've got time," he said with a shrug. He took too buttoning and unbuttoning his coat. When that failed. He took it off, and set it on the counter, the collar showing. He put his hand on it so that it was pointing to the symbol meaning that the next meeting was on the next day.
"Good," he replied, tugging his coat back on. He made sure to hide the symbol.
Cally walked into the back of the shop. The scones were done she pulled them out and put on some glaze.
Gavin grinned and thanked her, continuing to lean against the counter.
"Thanks," Gavin said a good. He took a bit. "It's good."
"You have enough time to sit and enjoy your scone before we close," Cally said, picking up her rag and wiping the counter again.
"Sure you have space?" he asked casually.
"It's five feet by seven feet. Not so sure," he replied skeptically.
"Kay," he said. "How long until closing?"
Gavin nodded. "Do you want to go somewhere after? As friends, I mean."
"Life is my work," Gavin replied. "Where do you wish to go?"
((Okay, what type of place? I need to be able to make it. . . . .))
Kora stepped inside, glancing around the small space.
((Perhaps we could have some sort of plot twist? Like someone saw Cally's Resistance thread, and so are now waiting in the bakery?))
Kora grabbed a bottle of spray paint when she saw the figure standing there. "You run. I'll be right behind you!" She sprayed the figure with her bottle of spray paint and took off running down the hall after Cally.

Is this acceptable?
