Alexandra approached the gazebo, hands shaking. Gently, she climbed the stairs, then leaned against the railing, looking out at the night skyline. Gently, she adjusted her mask and looked down at her shaking hands. She leaned out against the railing, closing her eyes and breathing deeply. "He's coming." she whispered to herself, shaking her head. "Idiot!" she shouted into the darkness, "I'm such an idiot"

Ashton made his way towards the lit up patio, his eyes were glue at his feet into he reach the top of the stairs. His eyes flickered away from his feet and then they fell upon Alexandra. He froze his as his mouth opened wide to say something but he couldn't make any sound. She just look like perfection in her pink outfit and he found himself stuck in a daze. It took him awhile to realize that he was just standing there, staring at her with an probably creepy expression. He then awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck as he found found the slight ability to speak, "You look nice." He already wanted to mentally slap himself, 'nice', what was he in the 8th grade. He eyes were still glued to her slowly making their away down her body. He then quickly stopped once he realized he was eye raping his friend, he cleared his throat awkwardly.

Alexandra looked up, startled, blushing. "Hey Ashton...thanks" she said, looking down, the back up at his face. "Thanks for coming to meet me...I really feel like we should talk" she took in her friend's appearance, "And you look very handsome" she said softly

"Yeah," Ashton responded as he quickly looked down at his feet, "No problem." He shoved his hands into his black dress pant pockets before adding, "So, what do you wanna discuss?" He was hoping that it wasn't going to have anything to do with the kiss they shared, but in all honesty, he knew that it was going to end up revolving around that.

"Well..." she paused, embarrassed, "Well I was actually hoping we could talk about yesterday...if that's ok with you" she dipped her head to look down, sure her face was flushed a deep scarlet

"A lot of stuff happened yesterday," Ashton nodded in agreement as he cocked his head to the side. He shifted uncomfortably from leg to leg, "Is there anything more specifically you would like to discuss?"

Alexandra bit her lip, glancing up at Ashton momentarily, "Um well, I wanted to talk about what happened last night, um, with you, and me, and, um," she fumbled nervously, surely he thought she was an idiot

"About the connection of our lips?" Ashton asked as he tried to avoid the word, kiss, but this made it sound even worse. He awkwardly leaned his back against the baloney as he crossed his arms over his chest. He knew that they were going to have to discuss it eventually, he must be ready to face the music now.

"Yes....i really think we should, um, clear the air about that or something" she mumbled as a strand of wind blew a loose red curl into her face. Again, it was as if she could feel the electricty between the two of them....but perhaps that was just her feeling the tingling running over jer pale, exposed flesh. "I'm sorry"

Ashton knew that she was asking whether he had feelings for her or not, but yet he didn't wanna answer that question mostly because he knew that he did. But, he was with Gwen, he wasn't allowed to like someone else. He cleared his throat awkwardly as he stated, "What exactly do you wanna know?" He knew what she wanted to know, but if wanted to avoid saying it as much as possible. If he tells the truth, he's an asshole, if he lies, he's still an asshole. It's a lose, lose situation.

"I..I don't know" she sighed, turning to face him. "I mean...I guess, I want to apologize, you know, for forcing myself on you" she frowned, "THat was really silly of me. So yea...I apologize for that" she half smirked

Ashton was taken by surprise. He didn't understand why the girl felt that she forced herself on him. He could of easily said no, but he practically encouraged her. He wasn't going to let her take all the blame. "Don't worry. I should be apologize for not stopping you and continuing even though, I have a girlfriend, kinda." Him and Gwen haven't had the official talk but they might as well of been dating.

Ashton knew that she viewed him in a more positive light, than how he viewed himself, but yet than again, don't the people closest to you see the best in you, even if you don't see it. But she hadn't known him that long. She hadn't seen what he was capable of. His anger, his jealously, his self hatred, but he didn't want her to see those things. He wanted her to view him in this positive light, but he knew that one day it would fade. He then for a moment got confused; she was referencing him and than referring to 'things being different.' At first, he thought it was just about her home life, but then he realized that she was also connecting that idea to him. That she wanted to be with him. He was unsure of what to say because a part of him wanted to be with her too, but he couldn't tell her that, could he? Wouldn't if just make things worst? "Alex, that is so sweet of you. I honestly think you're one of the best people I've ever meet," he quickly peered back up in her direction before adding, "A part of me wishes things we were different too." He was clearly referring to his father issues, but also to their relationship. He didn't just want to be her friend, but he also couldn't be anymore with Gwen in the picture.

Alex looked over at him, a frown on her face. Gently, she reached over and placed her fingertips ontop of his. "What do we do?" she whispered softly. She could see the conflict in his eyes. She would never be the type of person to ask him to choose her, no, she woudl never be brave enough for something like that. Her lower lip trembled slightly

Ashton let his finger tips slowly graze hers, as he lost himself in that small touch, but he felt the pit in his stomach, that told him it was wrong. It was wrong to have these feelings for Alex, while already kind of being with Gwen. His eyes meet hers and he opened his mouth, but then realizing he had nothing to say, and he closed it again. It was silent, their fingers still touching. Then he finally said, "I guess, we can't do anything." He knew that Gwen needed him now more than ever, and he knew that he needed her, but he also needed Alex, and he wasn't sure what to do.

Alex felt a shiver of electricity as their hands touched. At his words, she looked down, biting her lip. She wanted him to say so much more, that they would make something work. Ashton kept his eyes glued to hers, feeling her burning gaze lips, even if it was for a quick second. He awkwardly shifted under her gaze, and he started to play around with the button on his tux, as he tried to keep his eyes off of her. He kept his eyes glue the ground, as he started to talk, "So....," he wasn't sure what to say in this situation, but he believed that anything and everything he wanted to, was wrong.

Alexandra laughed quietly. "I always get these rediculous ideas when I'm around you. Do you know that? Ashton's head quickly flung up so that his gaze was on her again, and her hot pink dress. His is run their way down her body, and he knew that he shouldn't of been undressing her with his eyes, but he couldn't help himself, he was a guy. Did she look fucking sexy? Yes. Would he tell her that? No. Should he tell her that? No. He flashed her a soft grin, with a slight blush, as his eyes fell upon hers, "It looks great on you." Arg. It looks great on you. Alexandra smiled softly, swishing her skirt slowly, revealing the long slit that ran to her thigh. "Thanks. You don't look too bad you're self. Ashton has eyes trailed up her bare leg, and he knew, that she knew, she would have this affect on him. He chuckled it off as he dragged his eyes away once she stated that she looked better then him, and dramatically placed a hand on his chest, as if he had been shot, before stating, "Hurtful. You could at least lie, to make me feel better." He gently put his hand under hers, bringing to his lips before pressing them against her warm flesh. He placed his hand on her waist, and brought her close to him, "As you wish, ma'lady."

Alexandra's heart fluttered as his lips brushed her hand. She smiled up at him, "Unfortunately there is no music, but I doubt it would be a good idea for us to dance inside." There was a small touch of sadness in her words, but she brushed it off with a joke, "Do I need to teach you to dance like this, too?" A smile spread across her ruby lips. She was so close to him, that electricity from their touch racing through her once more.

Ashton could sense her joking tone, but it reality it wasn't really that funny, it actually caused a frown to form on his lips because he remember; Gwen. He cocked his head to the side as he quickly tried to cover up his reaction before flashing her his charming boyish grin, "Well, you and me both, know," he started to explain as his hazel eyes flickered over to hers, "That I can't dance for shit. So, this may not turn out well." It was true, Ashton couldn't dance, he wasn't like Reese, or Alex, that it could be so in tune with music, and move according, it wasn't his forte.

Alexandra smiled sheepishly, "That's ok, just follow my lead. Boxstep." She moved her feet slowly, urging her to follow him, "See, easy peasy?" She smiled up at him. She couldn't believe she was actually here. Dancing. With Ashton Komo. How had she gotten so lucky? But, that's all it was at this point it felt like. Luck. Her eyes flickered to his lips, and then she purposefully adverted her gaze

Ashton followed her lead, and blushed softly because she was playing the role of the dominate male. Not that he believed in specific gender's could only do certain roles, but he felt slightly unmanly, because he didn't have the ability to lead the dance. "It isn't that hard," he stated as his eyes were glued down to his feet, making sure he didn't step on hers. He was almost too focused.

"You're doing just fine," Alexandra replied reassuringly, "We all have to start somewhere, right? Ashton chuckled as he cocked his head to the side, "Lies," he responded as he flashed her a grin before playfully adding, "You were probably born dancing." Was it a bad joke? Yes, but then again all of Ashton's jokes were. He flashed her a cute boyish grin before reply, "I can try, but I can't promise your feet will be okay." He tried to take the lead, and surprisingly didn't step on her feet. He did move very robotically, but one problem at time, right?

Alexandra giggled at his joke, watching his feet as he took the lead. "Look aty ou! Practically a professional!" she teased. Perhaps it was more of flirtatious nature, but she could not help herself. She looked up at him, batting her eyes softly. "Really, Ashton. Youre doing amazingly."

"Does this look like a lying face to you?" she asked, smiling up at him sweetly. "Of course I think so! Youre doing rather wonderfully, vast improvement from the other day!" she winked, blushing slightly at the memories of their other, more awkward, dance practice. She couldnt believe she was actually enjoying herself. She thought this dance was going to be horrid...but it was going much better than expected.

"Definitely not a lying face," he chuckled as he continued to the dance, and was quickly reminded about their time in the studio, and their almost kiss. Ashton knew that she knew that he was doing okay, and it was livable dancing, but yet he still felt embarrassed considering she was such a good dancer. The same reason, he never danced infront of Reese because he felt like she would laugh at him. He was surprised that Alex didn't. She seemed to truly be enjoying herself.
