For those who would like to discuss all of the Alex Craft books.

Holly Mortimer (hollymortimer) 92% done the third book. Basically skimmed it. I just needed to make sure she ended up with Death :)

Kristin | 19 comments I really want to read the 4th book, but apparently the publication date has been pushed back a few times, and as of now there isn't one. Definitely the worst thing about starting a series that isn't complete!

I know. Cliffhanger ending and no resolution in sight. I just decided for myself how it should end.

I loved the awfulness of the cliffhanger. She cannot trust anything that Falin says or does. If she moves out, would he just follow her?

Looks like we should have the next book in late March according to GR: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

Missmisha | 6 comments After chat the other day I grabbed the rest of the series. I did enjoy two more than one and three, though I think three did a lot more in the advancement of the plot.

Sadly, it looks like there are tons of delays with the fourth book, which is concerning, since yes, kinda a cliffhanger, but not really? The Winter Queen is clearly just inventing things now, which is funny, interesting, annoying and downright rude. I'm still TeamDeath (creepy things to say), but she's definitely pushing Falin into Alex's way.

Once more I felt like the descriptions of Alex's magic in use seemed confusing, and I could imagine (and had to) seeing the portrayal on television as I read, because what was written often needed different/more description to visualize. Not sure if anyone else felt that while reading.

I'm perplexed by her father's statement about her sister and brother, and if I'd found out like that, I'd be investigating my own life on the side!

I didn't think I'd enjoy the series as much as I did, so thanks for putting it in my way.
