Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

In 2014, a two-part edition of Het verhaal van Genji (Dutch for The tale of Genji) was released, both containing approximately 700 pages. This version (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...) is set on Goodreads, but that is only part one. I added a 'part two' (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...), but of course I can't add this version to my 'read' list, because I haven't read the book twice. I have only read it once.
Can you please merge the two versions into one 'Tale of Genji', containing 1517 pages (the two books combined)?

You can add both to your read list as they are different books. It won't mean you read it twice.

But the best solution might be to have a single entry with both volumes.
