The Secret of the Old Clock discussion

The Secret of the Old Clock by: Carolyn Keene was a very good mystery book. It started out with Nancy Drew finding out that someone left two wills and now he is dead so she needed to find the most recent one. She starts to ask around to find it and finds out that it is somewhere with an old clock. I would recommend this book because it was a great mystery.

This seems more of a review than a discussion question, but glad you liked it.... I only vaguely remember it.

What version did you read, the modern or the old version, as with the Hardy Boys they did rejuvenate the series?

I read the old version of The Secret of the Old Clock. It may have been my first Nancy Drew book. Or, maybe the first one I read was The Secret of the Wooden Lady. I still have the 1950 version of The Secret of the Wood Lady and it was probably 1952 or '53 that I read it. Those books were the impetus for my love for reading and writing mysteries!

I grew up reading the yellow bound version of the series.
