In Sabriel, I just wondered why Garth Nix wrote an Epilogue changing the fate of Sabriel, rather than just running the story to its conclusion within the usual chapter format? I think this worked well but what made him think of doing it this way?

I already asked my question re reading order when there's a prequel on Twitter, he answered relating to a re-read but where would he advise new readers to start? Clariel or Sabriel?

I'd also like to know what else might be hidden in the Clayr library.
