Are you aware that October is Domestic Violence month? As authors, how can we enlighten society to the perils of domestic abuse? Some good books that will give readers a new prospective on domestic abuse are mine, "Carnal Abuse by Deceit," as well as "LoveFraud" and "Escaping the Boy." They deal with the abuse of sexual assault by fraud, which most folks don't even recognize is a crime.... until it happens to them!

J.M. I want to thank you for creating this thread and for sharing your book titles about domestic abuse. Domestic Violence is a personal and dark part of my past but today I'm very Blessed to stand and say I am one of many over comers and survivors of domestic abuse. Many people aren't aware that October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Last October I was riding on an elevator for an appointment there were three other people on there with me one of the women said to me "I know what the pink ribbon is for(Breast Cancer Awareness Month) but what's the purple one for?"I told her that October is also Domestic Violence Awareness month and she said I didn't know that I should because I lost my sister to domestic violence and I told her it is never too late. Again I thank you so much for starting this thread.
